The Ron "Dr. Love" Carson Foundation's mission is to promote racial understanding, harmony, tolerance and brotherhood through music and cultural events.
The Love Foundation's mission statement is taken from the first two commandments of the bible:
The Love Foundation was founded by Radio and Television personality Ron "Dr. Love" Carson in 2001.
The Love Foundation has worked closely with Projectkiks.org since 2004 and has been instrumental in many of that organization's projects and humanitarian efforts. Project KIKS distributing shoes to children in Liberia. Ron Carson hails from Vallejo, California. An award winning musician and entertainment personality, he was inducted into the San Francisco Bay Area Blues Society Hall of Fame in 2005 and received the Prestigious Bay Area Black Music "Living Legend Award" in 2007 for his contributions to the music industry.
Ron Carson began his career in radio in 1973 while attending University of California in Davis, California. He was on the campus station KDVS for two years. Ron graduated from Columbia School of Broadcasting in 1980. He worked on KCSF in San Francisco, California during the 1980s. Ron hosted the "Dr. Love Show" on Ozcat Radio from 2007 to 2012, and hosted the "Dr. Love Show" on VCAT T.V. in Vallejo, California. VIDEOS: |
